I created the cover illustrations for these two reimagined fairy tales by Kalynn Bayron, published by Bloomsbury. Two stories of fantasy, mystery, and resilience that subvert classic fairy tales and give a voice to protagonists determined to write their own stories.
In Cinderella Is Dead, two hundred years after Cinderella's story, young women are forced to attend a ball where men choose their future wives. But Sophia, who longs to love freely, decides to challenge the rules of an oppressive kingdom and fight to change her destiny.
In Sleep Like Death, a dark reimagining of Snow White, we follow Princess Eve, raised with the mission of defeating a sorcerer who terrorizes her kingdom. As she uncovers secrets about her family and her past, she must confront powerful forces that threaten to unravel everything.
